Park Yoga is a charity that provides free community yoga sessions around the UK.
All are welcome, regardless of age, background or ability. Beginners and anyone that may not be able to attend a regular yoga class are encouraged to join.
Park Yoga is free to attend and there is no need to book.
The group has aspirations of making this a national movement, and it relies on donations in order to grow. The aim is to make yoga inclusive and accessible for all.
Sessions are held at 9:30 Sunday mornings, from May to September at Howard Palmer Park in Wokingham, which is one of more than 30 locations in the south of England.
You simply turn up with a mat or towel and enjoy an hour of great yoga taught by Jill, Vicki, Ellie or Richard.
Park Yoga Wokingham started after lockdown and has flourished thanks to the support from Wokingham Town Council in providing the beautiful location and facilitating the yoga teachers.
An average of 140 people enjoy the session every week.
