THREE people have Wokingham are among nine people arrested following an incident in Odiham.
Hampshire Police said that on Sunday, October 8, they believe a man was injured by a blow to his head by a crowbar. Another man was allegedly seen with a gun.
It is believed that there were two groups of people who all knew each other, and the incident took place at a site off the A287 Farnham Road, near the Chalky Lane junction around 3.15pm in the afternoon.
Police have continued their investigation, and made nine arrests, the latest was on Tuesday, January 23, was of a 24-year-old Wokingham man who was arrested on wounding with intent and violent disorder.
He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
There were eight arrests made in October and November.
On Monday, November 13, a 38-year-old man from Mortimer was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, violent disorder and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
On the same day, a 22-year-old man from Bramley was also arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and violent disorder.
They have both been bailed with conditions until Tuesday, February 13.
A 26-year-old man from Wokingham was arrested on Sunday, October 29, on suspicion of wounding with intent, violent disorder and burglary other than dwelling – theft.
He has been bailed with conditions until Monday, January 29.
On Thursday, October 12, a 21-year-old man from Wokingham was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and violent disorder. He has been released from bail under investigation.
On Monday, October 11, a 25-year-old man from Odiham and a 34-year-old man from Reading were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. They have been released from bail under investigation.
On Sunday, October 8, a 40-year-old man from Odiham was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, theft of motor vehicle, aggravated vehicle taking and affray. A 25-year-old man from Odiham was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, affray and violent disorder. Both men have been released from bail.
Meanwhile, on Friday, January 5, a 30-year-old man from Odiham voluntarily attended a police station and was interviewed under caution in relation to the incident. He remains under investigation.
Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone who has any information about what happened to contact them, particularly from motorists who were driving on the A287 Farnham Road near Odiham at around 3.15pm on Sunday, October 8, and have footage that could be important to the investigation.
