The property that is home to one of Wokingham’s most well-known pubs has been put up for sale with a price tag of offers exceeding £640,000.
The Rifle Volunteer on Reading Road is an award-winning popular community pub, and the business will not be affected by any sale.
Adam Bullas, director of leisure development and investment at property agency Savills, told Wokingham Today: “The property is being sold as an investment, so it is the asset only that is for sale, and not the business which will stay unaffected.
He added the end buyer will benefit from the rent that the tenant pays.
