Cllr Jordan Montgomery has resigned as a councillor on Wokingham borough council, effective immediately.
Cllr Stephen Conway – leader of Wokingham borough vouncil, said: “Jordan, borough councillor for Wokingham Without ward, has been seriously ill for many months and has sadly decided that he can no longer carry on his duties at this time.
“I thank Jordan for his work on the council and on behalf of residents in Wokingham Without. He is a young person of great talent and ability and he will be missed.
I hope he makes a full recovery and is able to return to the council at some future point.”
