The Forest school has said that it is proud to report that 80% of our students have secured their places at their first choice Universities, including Bristol, Imperial College, Cardiff and Royal Holloway.
The school said that the number of A levels on target have improved again for the third year. Tunir, with 4 A*s, is going to pursue a degree in Engineering at Imperial College, London. They also have students starting degree apprenticeships in Engineering, and Accounting.
High grade performance exceeded their targets for 3+ A Levels at A*-B, and we have seen improvements at the highest grade thresholds for the third year.
The school also said that it’s delighted to have beaten our targets for performance at A* this year, with students achieving these grades in Physics, Maths and Further Maths, Business and Computer Science. Their BTEC success is sustained from last year, with half of the grades awarded at the highest levels.

Shirley Austin, headteacher said: “We are really proud of some exceptional performance in A level Computer Science and Technology where the highest grades were achieved by 60% of the students, or higher. A Level Economics, Further Maths and Business Studies maintain their records of success at Forest, where half of the cohorts achieved A*-B grades, and results reach new heights in A level PE this year.
“Our staff and students have worked exceptionally hard, leading to this year’s success. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Forest family, including our parents who support all the work we do with our students. We still have some places available for our Post-16 courses from September if students aspire to be part of our future success. They should make contact with the school. “
