The Wokingham Winter Carnival is a big event in the borough’s calendar and this year takes the theme Best of British.

Even though The Wokingham Paper wasn’t around last year, our team was still out and about taking pictures.
Last year’s theme was The Magic of the Movies and it formed the backdrop for a magical carnival procession.
Thousands of people lined the streets to see the parade go past, visit stalls and enjoy the fun fair.
Lots of local groups took part in the carnival procession including the Wokingham and Emmbrook Sumas, Reading Scottish Pipe Band and Saint Sebastian Wokingham Band.
