BRACKNELL And Wokingham Community Band is recruiting new members.
The group seeks musicians of all abilities to join its bands, and would like to hear from people who play wind, brass and percussion instruments.
Players are welcome to try out the group, with no need to audition.
BWCB was founded in 2008 and currently has more than 120 members.
The bands play a wide variety of music, including classical, contemporary, and jazz, along with pop,TV show music and film scores.
There are three wind bands that cater to a wide range of experience.
Concert Band is for musicians of grade six standard and above; Second Wind caters for grades three to five; and Beaufort Band is a group for those starting out or learning a second instrument.
Each band performs in a number of concerts throughout the year, with all the groups rehearsing at Wokingham’s Holme Grange School, on Wednesday evenings during term time.
Beaufort Band meets from 6.30pm to 7.50pm, Second Wind rehearses from 7pm to 9pm, and Concert Band plays from 8pm to 9.45pm,
Members must be over 18.
