Crowds flocked to Pinewood Miniature Railway last Sunday for its monthly event.
Formed nearly 40 years ago, Pinewood Miniature Railway Society is a non-profit organisation that provides family fun for the community.
The passenger-carrying miniature railway runs for nearly half-a-mile through woodland at the Pinewood Centre on Old Wokingham Road between Wokingham and Crowthorne.
It is open on the third Sunday in the month from March until October, from 1.30pm until 4pm, and on the third Sunday in November from 11am until 3pm.
Paul Konig, chairman of the society, said: “We are a small, friendly group of volunteers who operate, maintain and develop the railway.
“We are always looking for new members to support us, and would encourage anyone interested to get in touch with the secretary and arrange a day to come down and have a chat.
“Training is provided, and we encourage people to play to their strengths and interests, or to learn new skills. Activities range from driving, guarding, station staff, signal operation, to general maintenance and upkeep, groundworks, mechanical and electrical work.”
The remaining dates this year are September 17, October 15 and November 19.
