Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was knocked off his bike in Wokingham.
The incident took place around 9.50am on Tuesday, May 8, in Wiltshire Road.
A 16-year-old was cycling to school when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle, which is believed to be a grey-coloured car.
The teenage boy suffered cuts and bruises and was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. He has since been discharged.
The driver failed to stop and drove away in the direction of Wokingham town centre.
Investigating officer PC Justin Aylin-White, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing based at Three Mile Cross, said: “I am appealing for anybody who may have seen this incident to contact me.
“Likewise, if anyone was driving in the area at around that time, who may have dash-cam footage of the incident, please call the non-emergency number 101, quoting URN 384 (8/5).
“Fortunately, the cyclist did not sustain serious injuries, but it could have been far worse, and I am also urging the driver of the vehicle to come forward.”
