Binfield stay at the top of the table after a tremendous batting display from Tom Andrews helped the league leaders to an 84-run victory.
Binfield batted in the first innings but Finchampstead made a brilliant start to the match as they dismised Muhammad Furquan, caught out by Patrick Fall, bowled Nick West for a duck and with just one run on the scoreboard.
Finch then added another wicket as Ollie Bareham bowled out Duncan Wessels for five to leave the hosts on 18-2.
But Finches bowling joy would quickly end with Wynand Lamprecht joined at the crease by Tom Andrews.
The pair formed a stupendous partnership at the middle as they put on a remarkable combined total of 161 to take Binfield to 179 before Lamprecht was removed on 65, caught lbw from the bowling of Cameron Ellis.
Andrews continued his impressive innings despite losing his long-time partner, but he continued to smash boundaries as he excelled Binfield’s total.
His superb innings was finally put to an end by Finch bowler Bareham, but with mass damage already done to the total as Andrews finished on 187 runs with Binfield on 285-4 after his dismissal.
Binfield finished their 45 overs with a huge score of 297 to set Finch an uphill task in the second innings.
Finch lost an early wicket as their difficult task became even harder after a disappointing inning from Jed Crerar who was run out on five runs.
With runs desperately needed on the board, Richard Reed and Jamie Brown began to build a good partnership to boost the total before Brown was caught out by Lamprecht, bowled by Matt Hayman.
Rupert Warren then took two consecutive wickets for Binfield as Harry King fell for eight before Andy Webb was removed for zero.
Binfield then broke through with the crucial wicket of Reed (38) as they took a commanding position in the match.
A strong showing from the Finches middle-order helped to increase the run rate as they looked to get back into the match, with Ian Rose (46), Cameron Ellis (33) and Patrick Fall (31) each providing consistent totals.
But they would eventually fall well short of the required total as Binfield gained the last wicket of the innings with just two balls left.
