A VILLAGE will waive away the chill of November for a night as residents take part in a bonfire and torchlit procession.
Beech Hill Memorial Hall’s annual event will see visitors enjoy the late-autumn festivities, roasting marshmallows, carrying torches and enjoying warm food.
Participants are asked to meet at the village green at 5.30pm where beer and mulled wine will be available to buy. The procession will end at the hall from which soup and hotdogs will be served.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50 for children; food is included with bookings.
The bonfire takes place on Sunday, November 12.
