A Bracknell beauty business has been short-listed in four categories at the 2024 UK Hair and Beauty Awards.
Mona Rathod of Glamoureyes Pro has been nominated for the best lash stylist, best eyelash extensions salon, best for brows, and best home salon categories.
She said: “My background is scientific and I have three degrees, but since I was a little girl I’ve always been fascinated with eyes.
“After 16 years in the medical world, and after becoming a mum, I was looking for a different work-life balance.
“It was then that I came across the beauty industry and realised the transformative power of lash and brow techniques.
“I love seeing my client’ reactions and watching their confidence and self-esteem grow.
“I’ve been addicted to becoming the best in the business ever since.”
The UK Hair and Beauty Awards community come together each year to celebrate the hair and beauty industry.
The VIP event is a once-in-a-lifetime experience with celebrity guests, hosts and entertainment, and can only be attended by invitation.
