A VITAL lifeline for villagers has been curtailed because of the snow – meaning that Hurst and parts of Wokingham will not have a bus service.
Courtney Buses tweeted late last night that it “will not be serving Hurst Village, nor Broad Hinton or Winchcombe Road tomorrow morning”.
“Service 121 May not be able to serve all of Norreys Estate.”
Some of its Bracknell/Binfield services have also been affected.
“108 terminating at Peacock Farm, not serving Jennetts Park. 150 not serving Priestwood, out via Binfield Rd, in via Wokingham Rd 156 not serving The Parks, nor Forest Park. Will run full length of Harmanswater Rd. 157/8 not serving Deepfield Rd/Bullbrook”.
The company is planning to carry out route assessments as the day goes on, but notes that “we are serving main routes only until roads have been assessed for safety”.
We will keep you updated.
