A CAR got stuck in the ford in Charvil and needed rescuing by the fire brigade.
The incident took place around 7.06pm on Thursday, September 21.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said they sent crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Whitley Wood fire stations to the Lands End Ford, alongside a Water Rescue Unit from Caversham Road Fire Station.
All three passengers were able to escape the vehicle before firefighters arrived and were taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
The crews were at the scene for just under half-an-hour.
