A Wokingham town centre store has received a makeover to celebrate its 35th anniversary, and joining the party was a VIP – a very important pup.
The Wild Card in Broad Street has been selling greetings cards, gifts and party goods since 1989.
It has revamped its store, with new greetings card ranges in stock and a new logo to celebrate.
Earlier this month, the changes were given the paw of approval from Boofle The Bear who dropped in to meet shoppers, and help hand out discount vouchers and goodie bags.
Despite being called a Bear, the knitted character is actually a dog, and has been delighting card recipients since 2008 – more than 100 million greetings cards have been sold in that time.
