Police have released a CCTV image of a man after a child was sexually assaulted in Finchampstead on Sunday.
The incident took place at around 3:45pm at the sports pavilion by Finchampstead Baptist Church Centre on Gorse Ride North where a man was seen approaching children aged between 10 and 11, and appeared to be taking photos of them.
He also touched one of the children inappropriately over his clothing before he chased him a short distance.
Thames Valley Police have said: “We appreciate that local residents will be concerned to hear of this report, and would like to reassure you that we are taking this incident seriously and our enquiries are ongoing.
“We will be carrying out additional patrols in the area and have been working alongside local schools to make them aware of the incident and provide any necessary support.
“As part of our investigation, we are appealing to anybody who recognises the person in this image to please come forward as they may have vital information to assist us with our enquiries.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that may assist us to please get in touch.
