A SELF advocacy group for people with learning disabilities continues a wide range of activities in April.
Spring sees the return of CLASP Wokingham’s outdoor activities.
Gardening Club, and Woky Bikes 4 All with My Journey Wokingham are both back, with opportunities for fresh air, exercise and meeting up with CLASP friends.
Regular social activities continue, too, with crafts, films, sports, and drop in sessions.
And members of CLASP Wokingham can also enjoy Movie Mates, Coffee Shop, Dancing to Music, Book Corner, Evening Drop-In at Sedero Lounge, Active Session, Take Notice, Puzzle Club, Choir, and Board Games At The Library.
Sporting events include Happy & Healthy Club Sports & Fitness sessions at Wokingham Leisure Centre on Wednesdays.
This month they offer basketball on April 9, walking football on April 16, volleyball on April 23, and netball on April 30.
CLASP Wokingham has been chosen by Berkshire female voice choire, Vivace Voices, to receive money raised from their concert at English Martyrs Catholic Church, Southcote, Reading on Wednesday, April 9, at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 and are available on the door.
Also performing this month are members of CLASP Wokingham themselves.
Their Variety Show in conjunction with the Victory Project and Circus Scene, will take place at the Whitty Theatre, Wokingham, on Friday, April 11.
Tickets have already sold out, and the company is excited to perform.
