A consultation on a joint minerals and waste plan being made by Wokingham Borough Council will take place over the coming weeks.
The plan will guide the boroughs’ decision making on minerals and waste up to 2036 including future locations for sand and gravel extraction as well as waste management.
Two public meetings have been arranged to provide an update on the Draft Plan.
These meetings will be held at Arborfield Green Leisure Centre on Wednesday, July 18 from 7pm to 9pm and Knowl Hill Village Hall on Tuesday, July 24 from 7pm to 9pm.
These meetings are an opportunity to hear about how and why the Draft Plan has been prepared, and future stages of the process.
Further public engagement will take place, with a public consultation scheduled later in the year.
