A BOROUGH music group is moving its concerts to a Norreys church.
Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra (CSO) will take up residence at All Saints Church’s recently opened arts venue for its three main concerts each year.
Chair Adam Lloyd, said: We simply outgrew our previous venue, and were delighted that the newly refurbished venue was completed at just the right time for us.
“We held a trial rehearsal at All Saints in June with the full orchestra, and have confirmed our first season of concerts there, to begin in November.”
Audiences can look forward to a performance of Verdi’s La Forza del Destino, the Poulenc Piano Concerto with soloist Daniel King Smith, and Dvorak’s New World Symphony No.9.
The concert will open with a fanfare specially written for the occasion by composer John Whittaker, who plays cello with CSO.
The event is on Saturday, November 25, All Saints Church, Wiltshire Road.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with tickets costing £15 for adults, or free for under 18s.
Tickets are discounted by £2 if bought before Sunday, October 8.
