A CYCLIST has been left with serious injuries following a hit and run collision in Wokingham Without, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The incident happened around 10am on Saturday, November 25, on Nine Mile Ride near its junction with Honey Hill.
Thames Valley Police said the cyclist, a man in his 40s, collided with a Mercedes Citan van.
He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Officers said the driver of the van did not stop.
However, a 22-year-old has been arrested for causing serious injury by careless driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
He has been released under investigation.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses, dash-cam or CCTV footage to help their investigation.
PC Emily Aldridge, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage to please come forward.
