Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after a delivery driver was assaulted in Bracknell.
The incident took place on Monday, August 11 at the junction of High Street and the Ring behind Giggling Squid in Bracknell town centre at around 8:30pm.
The delivery driver was approached by a group of young people and was assaulted whilst on the ground and has sustained injuries that had to be treated at hospital.
The group attempted to steal a food order which the driver had picked up for delivery.
Police have said that they are aware that footage of the assault has been shared across social media and this has assisted them in making positive progress in identifying some of the offenders involved.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or directly to the parents of those suspects to assist them with their investigation.
Thames Valley Police said: “We are making a direct appeal to anyone who knows the identity of the offenders to come forward and likewise if there is any additional media footage that the community wish to submit, we would be grateful.
“The community have expressed that this incident has been shocking and Police would like to bring the right persons to justice in a swift manner.
“We are looking for assistance in identifying the following suspects from their descriptions.
“We are aware that others were present in the group but the following suspects are our priorities
“All suspects are in the age range of 13-17 years old.
” 1. White male, brown hair, large build. Black gilet, dark blue t-shirt, dark blue shorts, white trainers.
” 2. White male, brown hair, slim build. Lighter blue t-shirt, same shade t-shirt, black backpack, white socks, black sliders.
” 3. Mixed ethnicity male, dark brown hair, medium build. Grey t-shirt, grey shorts (both with a black stripe down side), black Nike backpack.
” 4. Mixed ethnicity male, slim build. Black t-shirt, black shorts, wearing glasses, wearing black balaclava.
” 5. White male, dark brown hair, large build. Black and dark grey jacket, black shorts, black shoes.
” 6. Unknown ethnicity, medium/large build. Jacket has lilac top and grey bottom, black trousers, black face covering, black “NY” baseball cap.
” 7. White male, brown hair, slim build. Black t-shirt, black shorts, black trainers.”
