A BERKSHIRE woman is celebrating in secret after winning a life-changing sum of money on a Lottery contest.
The mystery woman, known only as Mrs M, will receive £10,000 every month for a year after matching five numbers in a Set For Life draw.
National Lottery bosses said that the woman is now planning to buy a house with the winnings.
In the contest, entrants pick five numbers from one to 47 and a second number from one to 10. The top prize is £10,000 a month for 30 years, while matching two numbers scoopers a fiver.
For Mrs M, the numbers she chose were based on birthdays of her family and entered via the company’s online portal.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Huge congratulations to Mrs M for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket. After a few simple clicks, she can now look forward to receiving £10,000 every month for a year – one thing is for sure, it’ll be a year that she’ll never forget.
“With many people leading busy lives, playing online is becoming increasingly popular. It means you can make sure your lucky numbers are always in the draw and your ticket is always checked.
“Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like this winner, release some details through partial publicity.”
