A DOG has to be rescued after a car ended up in water last week.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Whitley Wood Fire Station was sent to Barges Lane near Swallowfield at 7.50am on Tuesday, January 23.
The driver of the vehicle was able to get out of the car, along with four dogs. However, a fifth pooch needed assistance to get to safety.
Once this was done, the crew handed over to Thames Valley Police.
In all, the crew was on the scene for 13 minutes.
