FIRE BREATHERS, princesses and free pizza are forming a weekend of fun to celebrate the opening of a new takeaway store in Wokingham town centre.
Domino’s Pizza is celebrating the launch of its Peach Street branch with four days of special events including samples for every Wokingham Paper reader.
A fire breather will perform between 6pm and 8pm each evening until bank holiday Monday – we don’t know if she will have eaten the Tandoori Hot or the RedHot Wings as her warm-up.
Princesses Ariel and Cinderella will visit on today, tomorrow and Monday. They will be joined by a face painter and there will be balloons, flags and more. Ariel will appear between noon and 2pm and Cinderella between 3pm and 5pm.
There will also be special offers including a large pizza for £5.99, collection only – saving more than £10 on most pizzas.
The free pizza offer in your Wokingham Paper has proved really successful. Store manager Pankaj Sharma said that there had been a huge response to people texting GRAND to 88008 to get their free pizza.
“More than 1,000 have signed up,” he said.
Mr Sharma said he was looking forward to welcoming everyone to the state-of-the-art store over the opening weekend.
“We want people to come and see us,” he said.
