A CHURCH in Spencers Wood is hosting an event on April 1, and no, this is no April Fool’s.
St Michael’s Church’s Easter Fayre will see people from the village and its surrounding areas come together for a fun-filled lunchtime of festivities.
Visitors will have the chance to win hampers, take part in a raffle and tombola, peruse gift and craft stalls and get their competitive juices flowing with some games.
Organisers are seeking donations for its bottle stall – bottles of wine, water, shower gel, and even ketchup will be gladly received.
The event will take place from 11am-3pm at St Michael’s Church, Basingstoke Road.
