FIRE tore through a lorry at an HGV training facility in Earley on Wednesday night, with an electrical fault believed to be the cause.
The alarm was raised at around 8.30pm, with Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service sending a crew from Wokingham Road station to the facility in Pitts Lane.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to douse the flames, which had taken hold of the engine and cab.
They spent around 45 minutes at the scene.
No-one was hurt during the incident, which is said to have written off the vehicle.
