Performing on the Sunday evening are musicians including Funk, Soul and Modern Dance band Funk Lab.
Bass player for headliner Funk Lab, Paul Jacques said: “We’re really looking forward to performing next weekend.
“We do a lot of gigs and play together very regularly but there’s something about Wokingham Festival which is really refreshing.”
“The professional stage and sound system coupled with the family vibe of the event is what makes it so unique.”
The musician – who performed with Funk Lab at last year’s festival – added: “The response from this type of audience is fantastic. There’s always lots of smiling and people enjoying our music at the same time as the festival’s food and drink.”
Funk Lab is made up of seven musicians who have performed more than 200 gigs including those at top London venues.
The group plays a mixture of dance and funk tracks by names such as Stevie Wonder, and has a line-up of more than 60 songs that festival-goers can enjoy from 9.30pm next Sunday.
Keen to enliven the crowds, Jacques added: “Getting the audience up is simple. Give them something to dance and sing along to and you’ll have them on their feet in no time.”
