A CHARVIL music group will be singing Christmas songs at their next open afternoon.
The Project Singers invite female vocalists to join them to sing Christmas songs from the movies, at an afternoon of music led by choir director Suzanne Newman.
A medley of songs arranged for two parts will include: Believe, Snow, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.
The group is also recruting for their Spring project, which will run from January to May 2025.
A concert at Norden Farm Arts Centre, Maidenhead, on Saturday, March 29 will celebrate 35 years that Suzanne Newman has directed the choir.
Choir rehearsals take place at Charvil Village Hall on Mondays, from 8pm until 9pm, and girls aged 10 to 18 rehearse in the same venue on Sundays, from 6.15pm until 7.45pm.
Next year the adult choir will sing in the Cheltenham Music Festival, and the girls will take part in Let’s Sing Reading!
The Christmas At The Movies workshop takes place at Charvil Village Hall, on Saturday, December 7, from 2pm until 4pm.
Tickets cost £12, including music and refreshments, and need to be booked and paid for in advance.
