Finchampstead is set to be in the spotlight after the Memorial Park and Sports Club was used as a location for a feature film last weekend.
The Finchampstead Memorial Park and Sports Club was chosen by Marv Uniform Productions for the film, currently known as Stunt Man.
The production company is owned by director Matthew Vaughn who is best known for films including Kingman, Layer Cake and Stardust.
A 1970s-style fun fair was installed at the park, with many rides, a helter skelter and a Ferris wheel visible from the road.
A large cast and extras used the whole facilities during the day for the filming.
Neil Doody, chairman of Finchampstead Park Management, told Wokingham Today: “The Memorial Park and Sports Club combined to ensure the success of the filming day.
“We were delighted to host the large event on Sunday, and the several days of planning and equipment installation beforehand.
“The occasion was a real boost for the fine park here in Finchampstead. “
