The A321 Finchampstead Road in Wokingham has reopened.
Earlier today the road was closed to traffic due to a fallen tree. We understand that police were on site redirecting cars away from the affected area, which was close to the entrance to Tesco’s superstore.
“The tree has now been removed and the road is fully reopen,” a spokesperson for Wokingham Borough Council told The Wokingham Paper.
BBC Berkshire’s travel line revealed that the tree has blocked the road in both directions between Molly Millar’s Lane and Carey Road.
We have spoken with local businesses who have revealed that the tree that has fallen is reported “not to be massive”.
Courtney Buses have revealed that their services are being delayed as a result of the incident.
