THERE has been a blaze at a car valeting centre in Winnersh this morning.
The fire broke out at Valet Easy Hand Carwash and Valeting Centre, at the crossroads where Reading Road meets King Street Lane and Robin Hood Lane.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service say that they received reports of a fire on Reading Road at 7.39am today.
Emergency crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, and Whitley Wood Fire Stations were sent to the scene.
On arrival, crews discovered a fire in a single storey building, that had spread to the roof.
Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hose reel and one hose reel jet.
South Central Ambulance Service attended to one person.
Crews were on the scene, on Wednesday, July 5, for approximately two hours and 45 minutes.
