A TREE fire in Woosehill on Monday night is being treated as a suspected arson attack.
The blaze was spotted on land behind Morrison’s by a dog walker just after 9.30pm, who alerted the emergency services.
A crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station answered the call and would discover a fire inside the trunk of the tree upon arrival.
Using a hose reel, those in attendance spent around 20 minutes attending to the incident, which firefighters believe was started deliberately.
No-one was said to be hurt.
