FIREFIGHTERS from Wokingham and Wokingham Road fire stations are currently tackling a roof fire in Woodley.
Police officers, fire crews and South Central Ambulance Service were called to the fire in Wright Close shortly before 4pm this afternoon following reports that a roof was alight.
The fire is believed to have spread to a neighbouring property, but no casualties have been reported.
Fire crews remain on the scene to bring the fire under control, and police officers are assisting with access for emergency vehicles.
Reports from the area suggest that the road has been closed.
