Nineteen ladies from the Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon tea at the Riseley Village Tea Room in August.
Naturally, there was much chat and laughter to accompany the delicious food and drink, including prosecco for those in the mood, as well as a good natured disagreement regarding the scones – Devon or Cornwall?
Inner Wheel is an international organisation and is celebrating its centenary in January.
We meet monthly at Sonning Golf Club, usually on the third Thursday of the month, for a chat and a drink at 7.15pm for 7.45 pm.
We then enjoy a two-course meal which is usually followed by an interesting speaker.
We are continuing to support community projects like The Cowshed and The Book Bus.
