Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy, which has offices in Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham, has welcomed Harriet Parfitt as a solicitor in its Charities and Education team.
Harriet primarily advises charities, schools and other third sector organisations in relation to charity law and regulatory matters. She is also equipped to advise across sectors on a range of commercial issues.
She joined Blandy & Blandy from a national law firm, having also spent time earlier in her career on secondment within the public sector.
Harriet said: “I am delighted to join Blandy & Blandy at an exciting time for the firm, and look forward to serving clients throughout the UK across the thriving charity and education sectors.”
Nick Burrows, head of charities and education, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Harriet into our team, and I am sure that she will make a very valuable contribution to the services that we offer to our charity and education clients.”
Blandy & Blandy is one of very few law firms outside of London with specialist expertise in advising clients in the charity and education sectors and counts prominent national and local charities and leading independent schools among its clients.
The firm’s expertise has been recognised in both Chambers UK and The Legal 500.
