A PHOTO with a Dalek, a lift to an airport, tea with the mayor, or a ride in a classic car. These are all prizes on offer in the Wokingham Lions’ auction of promises.
The fundraising group says it has received so many potential entries it has opened up bidding online.
Other prizes people can bid for include a magic show, a bridge lesson, comedy tickets, bowls tuition, or an aerial photo.
Bids must be made by August 31.
A spokesperson for the club said: “We have been overwhelmed by the number of fantastic promises we have received for our Auction of Promises. The generous individuals and businesses of Wokingham and the surrounding areas never cease to amaze us.
“We have therefore made the decision to place the Auction of Promises on-line, giving so many more people the chance to bid for the fantastic lots.
“Why not visit our website www.wokinghamlions.org.uk to browse through the promises and bid on something you would love for yourself, a loved one or friend. All funds raised will go to local charities and individuals in need.”
