A HORSE had to be rescued after becoming stuck in a bog in Wokingham yesterday.
Fire crews from Wokingham, Bracknell and Caversham Road stations were called to the incident in Blagrove Lane shortly before 2pm on Tuesday (12).
Firefighters from the Animal Rescue Unit, which is based at Caversham Road, spent around half-an-hour rescuing the horse, using a winch to pull the animal to safety before handing it over to a vet for a check over.
