The COATS charity for Senior Citizens in Crowthorne has recently appointed Clare Rebbeck in the role of “Connector”.
COATS operate a day centre for senior citizens every weekday at their premises in Pinewood Avenue, Crowthorne.
Clare will reach out to individuals and groups in the area with the objective of bringing more visitors into the day centre. She will connect with other volunteer, local authority and healthcare groups to identify senior citizens within the area who can benefit from COATS.
She will also work with the COATS Trustees and Centre Manager to identify and implement additional activities and events for Senior Citizens.
Clare comes to COATS with a wealth of experience in the care sector, with specific emphasis on the Senior Citizen community. Her well-established network of contacts will serve her well in her new role.
Clare says: “It is very exciting to be working with such a great charity like COATS to support the older members of our local community. We have such a lot to offer with caring staff and fun activity sessions each day, the food is far too nice! And all at such a reasonable price, I am proud to join such a great team!
“The details of COATS and what we have to offer can be found at our website www.coatscrowthorne.org.uk/
“If you are a group or an individual with an interest in what COATS has to offer or perhaps have something to offer COATS then please contact me.”
