READING FC’s away trip to face Oxford United in February has been moved to a 12.30pm kick-off.
The Royals will make the short trip to face their local rivals away from home for the first time in more than 20 years in a League One clash.
The kick-off time has been moved from 3pm to 12.30pm after discussions with Thames Valley Police.
The team’s met in December at the Select Car Leasing Stadium as the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate after Oxford’s opener from Ciaron Brown was quickly cancelled out by Sam Smith’s goal.
The travelling Royals support are expected to have an away allocation at the Kassam Stadium of around 1,400 fans with ticket details to be announced soon.
