THE TEAM at The Link Visiting Scheme says it is thrilled that their November Charity Curry Night has raised a generous amount towards their Christmas Fundraising Appeal.
The event has totalled £1,118, which will help The Link’s work to alleviate loneliness and isolation in older people this festive season.
Liz McDaniel from The Link Visiting Scheme said: “A massive thank you to everyone who joined us, donated to the raffle and auction, and helped make the evening so special.
“Special shout-outs to Koush and the team at The Tamarind Tree for their warm hospitality, those who donated the prizes (including Blandy & Blandy Solicitors, Ascot Racecourse, Haringtons Wokingham and Tesco (Wokingham) and to Stewart Turkington Photography for capturing the night so beautifully.”

Anyone who wasn’t able to join the event, but who would still like to support Link Friends this festive season, can still buy tickets for a Paint and Sip Night on, Friday, November 21.
A few spaces still remain for the event, which is being led by artist Lisa from R Young Art Gallery.
Any donations to The Link’s Christmas Fundraising Appeal – however big or small – will be very much appreciated.
