THE FIRST meeting of 2024 for the Wokingham Literary Society will be an exploration of the way attitudes have changed over the years.
Novels of the 1930s: Popular or Problematic But Still Pertinent? is the title for the session which will be held on Thursday, January 18.
Angela Wade, Sheila Wilson and Pat Vokes will discuss Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With The Wind and Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca.
The session starts at 7.30pm and takes place in the lecture room of Wokingham Baptist Church in Milton Road. Places cost £2.
