A NEW facility at a Wokingham school will see pupils flying high.
Luckley House School ,in Luckley Road, has launched a zip wire in its woods.
The headteacher Jane Tudor and school bursar Norman Patterson challenged each other for the very first race, with Mrs Tudor zipping to victory.
This was followed by a race between head student Imogen and Year 8 pupil Jake, which the school said was closely fought, but clinched by Jake.
A spokesperson for Luckley said: “This new addition to our facilities looks set to be very popular with pupils and staff alike.
“A big thank you must go to our parent group, Luckley House Friends for donating the funds for the zip wire.”
