A MAN required surgery for his injuries after being punched in the face outside a Wokingham town centre pub last month, and police have released a CCTV image of a person they believe could help their investigation.
The incident happened outside The Gig House in The Plaza, Denmark Street, around 3.30am on Sunday, March 26 – the incident happening Saturday night into Sunday morning.
The victim was a man in his twenties and required surgery for his injuries.
Thames Valley Police are hoping the man in the CCTV still will come forward.
Investigating officer PC Amelia Fielding said: “We are releasing a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to as we believe he may have information regarding this incident which caused injuries that required surgery.
“We are asking anyone who recognises this man to please come forward and contact Thames Valley Police through our online pages or by calling 101 quoting reference 43230137023.
