WOKINGHAM duo Ben and Megan Fletcher both enjoyed medal success in Morocco at the weekend.
The sibling judoka were competing at the Marrakech Grand Prix where Ben clinched gold in the -100kg category, the second Grand Prix win of his career to move up to 11th in the world rankings.
Olympian Fletcher overcame Dominik Majowski of Poland, Romanian Luca Kunszabo and Kazakhstan’s Aibek Serikayev to reach the semi-finals.

There he beat Estonian Grigori Minaskin to set up a title bout with Toma Nikiforov of Belgium, which Fletcher won with a waza-ari.
That success came a day after sister Megan had reached her first ever Grand Prix final, losing out to France’s Margaux Pinot in the -70kg final.
Commonwealth champion Megan defeated Yarden Mayersohn (Israel), Hilde Jager (Netherlands) and Sarah Maekelburg (Germany) to reach the last four, where she overcame Australian Aoife Coughlan.
The silver medal was a step-up from the bronze won in Tel Aviv in January and moves Fletcher up to 25th in the world with Tokyo 2020 Olympics now in sight.
