NUTRITIONAL therapist Joanne Hart and Heather Dyson gave a talk on World Menopause Day.
Their theme was cardiovascular health, with the discussion covering sport, energy and nutrition.
Bad weather on the day made it a struggle for some to attend, but those that made it to the meeting at Wokingham Library on Wednesday shared a sense of community, say the organisers.
People who came were able to benefit from nutrition advice, free samples, and the opportunity to talk frankly about menopause and its symptoms.
The group learnt how nutrition and lifestyle can help, and the organisers say that if anyone who missed out on the talk is interested in nutrition advice for sporty and active lives, for both women and men, they can contact Joanne via www.healthandhart.com
