***UPDATED – She has been found safe and well. ***

In a statement, Thames Valley Police said: “We are delighted to announce that a girl who had been reported missing from Warfield has been found.

“We would like to thank the public and the media for their help in sharing our appeals to find her.”

The original story is below

A 17-year-old from Warfield has been missing since 11pm on Thursday, July 11 and police have issued new pictures in a bid to find her.

Sarah Valentine, was last seen in Swithin Chase. It is thought that she may have been using a light blue Carrera mountain bike when she went missing.

Superintendent Sarah Grahame, from Thames Valley Police, said: “Despite a thorough ongoing investigation Sarah has not been seen since Thursday.

“There have been no confirmed sightings of her since and we are growing increasingly concerned for her.

“I would like to remind people of Sarah’s appearance. She is white, 5ft 3ins tall with blonde or brown shoulder length hair.

“When she went missing she was wearing black jogging bottoms, a black t-shirt, purple trainers and glasses.

“Sarah is known to frequent Warfield, where she lives, as well as Bracknell and Windsor, particularly Windsor Great Park.

“I would ask anyone from these areas to think about whether they may have seen Sarah, or someone matching her description.

“As part of our appeal we are now releasing further images of Sarah in the hope that someone will recognise her.

“I am asking for people to look closely at these images. Have you seen Sarah recently? Have you seen the blue Carrera mountain bike?

“We believe Sarah may have been using the bike when she went missing. We believe she was not using a cycle helmet, which could have made her more distinctive.

“If you have any information that can help us find her, no matter how small it may be, please come forward and speak to police.

“Sarah, if you see this appeal, please know that you are not in any trouble. We only want to make sure you return home safely to your family.

“If you are reading this appeal, then please make contact with either your family or the police as we are all worried about you.”

Anyone with information that can help with finding Sarah is asked to call 101, quoting reference 43190211929.

Reports can also be made online or anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
