More signs have appeared this week to mark the opening of the new McDonald’s restaurant in Wokingham.
The McDonald’s sign has now appeared on the totem showcasing businesses at the Bridge Retail Park on Finchampstead Road.
A spokesperson for the fast food giant confirmed to Wokingham Today that the restaurant is set to open in September.
The restaurant had previously advertised for staff members for its new venture..
It was advertising full-time roles as crew members with salaries of between £9.52 and £12.26 per hour.
Wokingham Today noted that online applications are no longer being accepted for these roles.
McDonald’s has been asked for comment as to whether all vacancies have been filled.
It had previously said up to 120 full- and part-time roles would be created by the new opening.
Wokingham borough council approved plans for the restaurant at the former Carpetright store in May 2024.
