Nelson Oliveira is not on the brink of a move to Reading.
Reports over the weekend have seen the Royals strongly linked with a move for the Norwich City striker, but The Wokingham Paper understands that is not the case.
It had been rumoured that Reading were set to pay in the region of £8 million to £10 million for the Portugal international, but a source at the club has quashed the talk, branding it “a definite non-starter”.

Royals won the first contest 2-1 thanks to goals from Roy Beerens and Ryan East while teenager Danny Loader stole the show in the second game of the afternoon.
The striker scored four goals as Reading won 5-2 with Adi Popa also finding the net.
