Dedicated live music venue and restaurant opens (Bracknell app 25/00458/FUL)
Musica at The Lexicon has officially been given the go-ahead to open on Friday, November 21.
The new venue, which has taken over TGI Fridays in Eagle Lane, won licensing permission for live music, the sale of alcohol and more until 2.30am on Fridays and Saturdays.
It also required planning permission to change the use of the unit from just a restaurant to include live music, a games area and outdoor seating.
Planning officer Will Rendall concluded would not result in an adverse impact on the amenity of neighbours. The application was therefore approved on Friday, allowing it to open later that day.

Wokingham Borough Council’s project for 130 new homes and a 70-bed care home has officially been shelved.

In September, council leader Stephen Conway (Liberal Democrats, Twyford, Ruscombe & Hurst) announced that the site would be sold to a developer.
Detailed plans of the access, appearance, layout and scale of the development were withdrawn on November 17.
