A Wokingham town centre pub will be the subject of a license review following complaints of noise and antisocial behaviour.
The Redan on Peach Street is alleged to have played “.. monotonous, pulsating, thudding music” after midnight on numerous occasions since July 2024, affecting residents on Rose Street.
The complaint also makes reference to “.. very rowdy customers” who have been accused of shouting and swearing late into the night.
A notice detailing the review has now appeared outside the premises.
Representations can be made to licensing@wokingham.gov.uk until July 7, 2025.
Wokingham Today understands the review of permission to provide late night music will be performed by Wokingham borough council’s licensing sub-committee at a future meeting.
